2slide Incubator
This versatile model offers constant temperature pre-set incubation.
The ideal unit for single cooling tower sites where only 1 or 2
Dipslides require incubation and the investment in larger incubators
is not an option.
Our 2slide incubator unit is Pre-set to 30 0C (35 0C to
order) and runs from a regular 220 - 240v Mains supply.
Internal fuse and over-temperature protection is built In
to provide safe & reliable long term operation. Each
GNAT is pre -set during manufacture but the optional thermometer
can be used for periodic checks if required.
The 2slide is completely maintenance free and needs only
a 30-minute warm up period before incubation can begin.

The Challenger Incubators
Provides laboratory standard incubation for microbiological
and chemical reagent testing. The 6400 Series is available in 2
models. the DM for mains 220 - 240v (110 to order) or the MV, with
the added facility of 12v operation via a vehicle cigar lighter
socket. A convenient feature of both the DM & MV is the integrated
power supply - this means no additional, bulky transformer is required
for mains use. Both incubators are supplied with a spirit thermometer
and power cable ready for use!
The tough molded case and shatterproof polycarbonate lid
are easy to wipe clean and the ergonomic location of the
controls under the lid avoids the risk of accidental adjustment
whilst the unit is in operation. Connectors for power cables
and associated fuses are located on a convenient panel at
the rear of the incubator. Typical Load - 25 Dip-slides
or 30 Petri Dishes (95mm).

CHECKIT®Comparator
The Lovibond® CHECKIT®
Comparator is a compact, handy
colorimetric unit which is suitable both for mobile and stationary
analysis work.
| Supplied
with a generous number of different colour scales, it provides
the basis for a comprehensive, easy-to-use colorimetric analysis
system. The two cells are filled with the water sample and
one is placed directly into the left-hand compartment of the
comparator, where it acts as compensation (blank) for coloured
or cloudy samples.
In the second cell,
the reagents required for the analysis (tablets, powder or
liquids) are mixed with the sample and this cell is then placed
in the right-hand compartment of the comparator. The relevant
CHECKIT®Disc is inserted in the comparator and turned
until the colour standard matches the coloured water sample.
The result can then be read in the large display window. |

The diffuser plate on the
rear of the comparator is used to provide compensation for ambient
influences and unfavourable lighting conditions.
Hydrogen Peroxide Strips
This patented test promises
to be a very attractive alternative to wet chemical peroxide tests
for several reasons. A mechanical reader is NOT required, even with
the 0.50 ppm (mg/L) sensitivity; the unique indicator is reactive
only to peroxide; and accurate results are achieved in under one
minute. But best of all, this product is safe and easy to use since
there are no chemicals to mix, an MSDS is not required, and the
indicator is noncarcinogenic.
| With
the WaterWorksTM Peroxide testing strip, a broad range
of concentrations can be measured with a single test method.
Accurate results from 0.50 to 100 ppm (mg/L) are obtained
in under one minute, making the new peroxide test strip ideal
for a wide range of industries.
Strips are packaged
in either bottles or foil packs labeled with a detailed colour
chart.
