FOR SEWAGE EFFLUENT WATER TESTING

The DTK Sewage Effluent Test Kit provides a simple means of monitoring the quality of sewage Effluents. The tests cover the essential quality control checks required for the day to day operation of sewage works and effluent treatment plants.

It is important that the condition of sewage effluent discharges be checked to ensure they conform to consent limits. Similarly the importance of regular testing by sewage works operators as a check on the efficiency of the works is widely recognised.

Sewage Effluent Kits have been developed to meet this need and are particularly useful at sewage works and other locations without full laboratory facilities. Each of the tests is performed simply without the use of complicated equipment and are suitable for operators without formal training in water testing and analysis.

The Sewage Effluent Tests are based on those recommended by the Department of the Environment and the Water Research Centre and accord generally with the methods laid down in “Analysis of Raw, Potable and Waste Waters” published by HMSO.

SIMPLE TO USE AND FULLY PORTABLE

Our test instruction booklet is in full colour and has easy to follow step by step instructions making on site analysis simple. The reagent labels and test booklet are printed on waterproof and chemical resistant paper making them more durable.

DECIDE YOURSELF WHICH PARAMETERS YOUR PRIMELAB CAN MEASURE

The advantage of the “JENCOLOR” sensor system is that additional parameters can be downloaded to your PrimeLab remotely at any time before or after purchase. Then with the correct reagents the PrimeLab Photometer is ready to go.

Each parameter is shown with its corresponding reagents. When ordering you will recieve an activation code which will activate the parameter on the PrimeLab unit. You will also receive the necessary reagents for that parameter.

GASTEC TUBES

Gas detector tubes are glass tubes that are filled with a chemical reagent that absorbs and reacts with the target gas or vapour being measured. A chromogenic stain (a colour change) is created. For most tubes, the concentration is read directly from the pinpoint accurate measurement scale on each tube. This makes this form of monitoring ideal for spot sampling as it can be more accurate then electronic gas detectors. The Gastec detector tube system is comprised of a handheld Gastec air sampling pump and Gastec detector tubes.

GAS SAMPLING PUMP

The Gastec Sampling Pump offers superior benefits over other tube sampling techniques.

  • Easy to use and minimal effort often using single pump strokes
  • Complete with a tube tip breaker.
  • Flow finish indicator to show when pump stroke is complete.
  • Optional sample counter.
